The Educational Department of the Economic and Legal Professional College of the Private Higher Educational Institution “Vinnytsia Financial and Economic University” is a structural unit created for planning, organizing and controlling the educational process and is intended for the development and implementation of organizational and methodological measures aimed at organizing and improving the quality of the educational process.
In its activities, the Educational Department is guided by the Laws of Ukraine “On Education”, “On Higher Education”, “On Languages” and other legislative and regulatory acts, the University Charter and orders of the Rector.
The work of the Educational Department is carried out in accordance with the work plan, which is approved annually before the beginning of the academic year, working curricula and class schedules are developed by specialties, the volumes of the educational workload of departments are formed and control over its distribution among teachers is monitored.
The main task of the educational department is to organize the educational process taking into account the capabilities of modern information technologies of education and orientation on the formation of an educated, harmoniously developed personality, as well as:
– the latest technologies of student education are introduced into the educational process in accordance with the requirements of multi-stage training and improvement of educational and methodological support according to the credit-modular system of organizing the educational process;
– information is collected and databases of the contingent are created;
– student attendance is monitored;
– the progress of the educational process is monitored, including the boundary control of knowledge;
– schedules of modules, tests, exams and credits are prepared;
– the educational process is researched and analyzed with the aim of its improvement;
– accounting and processing of statistical data on the contingent of students at the university is organized and reported on them to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine;
– the movement of the contingent is controlled, including renewals, transfers, enrollments, academic leaves, with quarterly data reconciliation.
